ORANGE PLAZA
ESTABLISHED IN 1886, THE PLAZA WAS FOR MANY YEARS THE SOCIAL AND COMMERCIAL HUB OF ORANGE. THE PLAZA HISTORIC DISTRICT ATTAINED SIGNIFICANCE THROUGHOUT THE STATE AS A HISTORIC LANDMARK IN 1981 AND WAS PLACED ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES ON MARCH 19, 1982. |
Orange Plaza Traffic Circle
| The traffic circle is the focal point of the Orange Plaza Historic District. The centerpiece of the circle is a lighted water fountain. Towering trees providing shade, areas of grass, rosebushes, and park benches help to make this a very enjoyable place to sit and relax while taking in the scenery. |
